Sadness

PCVS is now officially closing.
I can't believe that the stupid conservative right wing trustees won.
The court case lead for some reason to the judge finding that closing the school was fine.
I think this decision might have been pushed forward a bit by bribes.
Probably.
This is extremely depressing.
I feel like blowing something up.

Note: I got these pictures off google images.

Awareness test

Okay, watch the video, do the test, then see what happens. (Trust me, it's funny.)
And I was at a university with my class overnight Monday to Wednesday, and in psychology class they showed this video, so I DO have a reason to post it.

The Gilmour Street Garage Sale

Every year Gilmour, a street that my friend lives on, hosts a GIGANTUSAURUS garage sale. Yay for them! Garage sales are epic. Especially for me, because they tend to sell vintage fashion and cool antique stuff, such as records, that I absolutely love. I was there with my friends AugustaCharlotteAnwyn and Maggie. Charlotte, Anwyn and Augusta were playing some music to make some cash, while me and Maggie walked around seeking out wonderful things in the garage sale. Here are some beautiful pictures.

 Owl stuffies!
Drums and Chorlottes family's garage sale.
Photo fail of my loot, Aka; Three singles (The Beatles and the Police),  Union Jack beany bear, nail polish, hub, vintagey-looking shirt, briefcase and suitcase.

Try the strange juice!+Bob Dylan's birthday

Went downtown with Anwyn after the garage sale. We went into our downtown '60s pop culture store, Fab, to get prints. The guy who works there {I think his name is John, or the much more awesome title 'fab guy'} After talking to fab guy and looking in his shop we headed down to Min's, our local asian food store, and bought lunch which was, by the way, spring rolls and strange-looking good-tasting strawberry-flavored Alo Vera juice. Then we had a photo shoot with the juice and later headed back to my house, where we watched a spandex-clad David Bowie hold a small child in the movie 'Labourinth'.

Close up, the strange juice looked quite interesting.

On Sunday, me, Anwyn, and her two brothers, Rhys and Theo celebrated Bob Dylan's Birthday by eating cake and watching Concert for Bangladesh for the millionth time. Theo watched us make the chocolate zucchini cake very closely. {Theo is 4 years old}

Washago, the small town near Orillia that you probably haven't heard of

I went to my Nana's house last weekend. She lives in Washago, an extremely small town {by extremely, I mean you can walk through every street in their downtown in five minutes} that is mostly inhabited by cottage-dwellers and squirrels. I went up on the long weekend, stayed in Washago for two days and then headed to Orillia, Washago's more known neighbor. {Also the home of my grandparents}. We went up to celebrate my Nana's birthday and see my Aunt and Uncle, Richard and Ann, and their two sons, Ming and Kai. Ming and Kai are both roughly around my age. While in Washago we had our first swim of the year=really really freaking cold, several journeys to the nearby candy shop to blow all our money on candy bars, and hours of ukulele playing. In Orillia we went to the lake and had a swim and ice cream before heading back home.

Monkey bars in a park where we walked with my grandpa.

Just thought this picture was interesting.
